According to the official announcement of Russia on June 29th, 2010, the hygiene certificate related to food was officially cancelled. From July 1st, 2010, the electronic and electrical products belonging to health epidemic monitoring will no longer need health certification, but will be replaced by the registration certificate of the Russian government.

In the past, except for products related to food and drinking water (such as electrical products in contact with food), laptops or computer screens (products with radiation) must apply for Russian health certification.

At present, the new Russian registration certificate only regulates electrical products in contact with food, and the health certificate issued before July 1st, 2010 can only be used on January 1st, 2012. The Russian government registration certificate is valid for a long time.

Generally, the national registration certificate is applicable to the following categories:

1. Special food;

2. Mineral water, bottled drinking water, beverages packaged in containers, alcoholic beverages, beer;

3. Cosmetics, oral hygiene tools and products;

4. Daily chemicals;

5. Food additives;

6. Medical products;

7. Personal hygiene products for children and adults.

Russian government registration certificate certification conformity assessment procedure

1. Submit certification application (product name and model, specification parameters, international customs code, etc.);

2. According to the application, experts make identification and provide the most accurate and effective certification scheme;

3. Prepare certification materials under the guidance of professional certification engineer.

4. Review the factory and sample testing (if required by the selected certification scheme);

5. The organization reviews the factory qualification, identifies the submitted materials, and issues the draft certificate

6. Issue certificate, electronic version and original receipt.
