Glass SGCC certification

SGCC Safety Glass Certification Association was established in 1971. Members of the association include manufacturers of safety glass products, official building directive departments, and other departments related to public safety.

SGCC provides independent third-party certification projects for safety glass materials that meet the standards. All manufacturers who have passed SGCC certification will be granted a unique SGCC manufacturer number, and can use SGCC number on glass products. As an independent third-party certification body, SGCC provides certification for safety glass materials that meet the standards based on the test results of recognized national standards. The results of SGCC certification are a sign of glass safety confidence in the U.S. market. When purchasing glass, building engineers will have confidence in the safety performance of the product if they see that the product has passed the SGCC certification. Similarly, the owners of buildings will feel more secure when using SGCC certified glass

SGCC certification mainly covers the following building glass products:

-Tempered glass
